ZEAL is the inter-collegiate Annual Cultural Festival of the college organized jointly by various student bodies under Students’ Council for 3 days in the even semester.
'Carpe-Diem... Sieze the day' is the theme for Zeal'14 . In Zeal 2014 we give an exceptionally rare opportunity to feel the vibe and the strength of the present moment with never ending fun, from music to drama, street play to debates, lan gaming to treasure hunt whatever may be your interest. So be ready to seize every moment in Zeal' 14. Lets make it official this coming March 13 we at VCET campus would redefine the meaning of Carpe Diem(Seize the Day).
We would show how to live every moment, how to make every moment count!
Come this March to Zeal 14 where we say "If you woke up breathing, congratulations! You have another chance.

Dream as if you'll live forever. Live as if you'll die today. VCET gives you an great opportunity to redefine these statements on the Golden stage of ZEAL' 14 as our theme is Carpe Diem meaning 'Seize the day'. In this year's biggest cultural extravaganza ZEAL 2014, we are trying to prove we have only the present moment to live, to enjoy, to express our emotions and to pursue our interest to showcase our talent.

Students' Council

The Students’ Council is the apex student body in the college, mainly responsible for organizing various student related activities and extracurricular activities in the college. Headed by the General Secretary, it has four main wings viz. Cultural Committee, Sports Committee, Magazine Committee and Idea group, to take care of different activities.

Cultural Committee

Cultural Committee is mainly responsible for organizing various cultural events in the college which include FE Orientation Programme, Freshers’ Party, Teachers’ Day celebration, Engineers’ Day celebration, Garba & Dandiya celebration, various college days and the BE Farewell Party. Apart from these events this committee also arranges various seminars for higher studies and career guidance.

Magazine Committee

It publishes the annual college magazine ‘Vista’, Newsletter 'Tech Talk' and also looks after the wall magazine. This committee is also responsible for organizing various student related extracurricular activities in the college.

About VCET

Vidyavardhini means a body committed to enhancement of knowledge. Vidyavardhini was established as a registered society in 1970 by late Padmashri H. G. alias Bhausaheb Vartak for the noble cause of education in rural areas.

Vidyavardhini’s College of Engineering and Technology, Vasai is located on the sprawling campus of Vidyavardhini, spread over an area of 12.27 acres. It is a short, two minutes walk from Vasai Road (W) Railway Station. The college is also accessible by road from Mumbai. Vidyavardhini Society received approval from AICTE to start the new college of Engineering & Technology with effect from July, 1994. The college is affiliated to the University of Mumbai for the four year degree program leading to the degree of Bachelor of Engineering.
